Curious to hear from folks that are actually using these sensors …. how reliable have you found them to be? I bought four about two years ago and two have already failed on me. Both failed 'CLOSED'. If you have had them, please describe the specific application and whether you took any special precautions to protect them. Thanks

I use one sensor, I have it in my ATO container for alerts. It's normal state is closed, when water gets below the sensor it opens and alerts me. Has worked perfectly for a year and a half or more.

I have like 6+ for over a year now. You just have to pull them out and wipe the sensor every 4-6 months.

I clean them off more frequently than that.
I even shade them to prevent algae fouling,
