hello, so i bought a used pm2 from another reefer and i was able to hook it up on my other tank today. I bought 2 new temp probe along with that. Now the temp reads 123 degrees. So i figured maybe the probe is faulty so i unplugged it and hooked it up on my other tank and it reads perfectly. I tried updating the module with no avail. Anybody have a clue if this pm2 is faulty or am i doing something wrong. TIA

Sounds like the module is busted.. :( Does the salinity probe at least work? This is how one of my units that got salt in it behaves.

I still have the Salinity probe and I have not tested it. Might as well test it on my other PM2 if it still works. Bummer if that PM2 is broken

It might just be the temp port. Try a salinity probe in the salinity port. If it pegs high or low, or just sits there motionless, it's probably a bum unit. Hopefully not.
