I want my pump to turn on for 8min every hour from 12am -5 am. and would like it to shut off if ph is higher than 8.4 Im lost with the codes for the advanced setting, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Might be able to help with the first part.

I have a clip on fan in my canopy that I have on for 4 minutes, and off for 3, and then off when the lights are off.

Fallback ON
OSC 000:00/004:00/003:00 Then ON
If Time 23:10 to 11:00 Then OFF

So, if you changed the "004:000" to "052:000" and the "003:000" to "008:000", that should (( key word "should" )) cover the first part.

For the second part, I believe that "If Time 05:01 to 23:59 Then OFF" Would turn it off from 5:01 AM to 11:59 PM, which seem to be what you want.

For the 3rd part, and this is 100% a guess. I would think that something like "If ph < (( or is it > )) 8.4 Then OFF" Might need to name the pH probe, but not sure.

Something like this should work, just make sure to test it first

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
OSC 000:00/008:00/052:00 Then ON
If Time 05:00 to 00:00 Then OFF
If pH > 8.40 Then OFF

'Bamareef is right about the times --- I read what you wanted backwards.

Yep 'bamareef is correct.

If you want to have it come on at a specific time of the hour you can do something like this program that is for my vinegar dosing. I have alkalinity come on at the top of the hour, vinegar at 20 minutes after the hour and calcium at 40 minutes after the hour.

Fallback OFF
OSC 020:00/010:25/029:35 Then ON
If Time 22:00 to 13:00 Then OFF
If FeedB 000 Then OFF
If FeedD 000 Then OFF
If pH < 8.10 Then OFF

I set mine up with manual time and dose mine 12 times a day. It makes it easy to change for me also less at a time so no chance of ph going too high.

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
OSC 000:00/008:00/052:00 Then ON

Thanks I'll try this one out.

And I've done the manual timer route... to sum it up quick, I will never have a "timer" run anything that can mess up my tank, with no fail switch.... Basically the reason I bought the apex .

Thanks.

Yes your question was about apex. I just use standard timer function on apex I like it better . Also make sure to use the relay outputs on the eb8 or whatever you have.
