Apex Salinity Probe(how to read)

Very dumb question, just got a salinity probe. It’s set up. I did follow the processes and calibrated it.
Now how do you read it?
Says it’s reading at 38.9.
How and where do you convert this?
Stupid dumb question for someone to answer!
 
I'm sorry, but, what do you want to convert it to? It's reading ppt. Your tank should be at or right around 35.0. You should likely adjust for temperature compensation. Go to configure, advanced, down you will see TC factor, input 2.0, and update.

Once I get this I can recalibrate the probe and change the TC to 2.
You have no idea how much this helped me out!
I just wish they would’ve set it to 2 from the beginning. But I understand if you didn’t buy the temp probe.

Some electronic probes has automatic temperature correct, if this is the case the display will show the conductivity at 77°F (25°C).

Just so folks understand, that table is not showing that the specific gravity of seawater is changing with temperature like that. it is showing that a hydrometer used to read seawater will (incorrectly) show the specific gravity to be those values at those temperatures.

The real specific gravity (which is the ratio of the density of the seawater to freshwater at the same temperature) hardly changes at all with temperature.

Actually-that is right as temperature impacts ratio
