Apex with PM1 different reedings ?

I got my Apex running and added a PM1 to it . The temp and PH show different reading between the 2 even though all was calibrated . Somewhere is there such a difference?

How are you calibrating the temp probes?

Not sure I'm understanding the question. You have two temp probes and they are showing different values?What is the locations in relationship to the heater location?

It’s both the temp and PH . I used a Hanna digital temp probe to calibrate . I have one set of probes in my over of the tank and the Other set is in my fish room in my basement . So one temp prob is probably about 1ft from where my heater water come into the sump . I can kinda understand stand that but what could make the PH probes read differently

Several factors can affect the pH probes—- like age, build up on the glass bulb, or electrical interference. When my two probes, that I keep side-by-side in my sump, start to drift apart significantly I’ll take them out and put them in a glass beaker full of some tank water — isolating them like this helps to eliminate electrical interference. If they settle to the same number then they’re fine and some stray voltage is potentially in the water …otherwise it’s time to calibrate, or replace.

I’ve read that they need replacing every couple of years.

Did you verify your new readings are accurate after saving? Did you put the probe back in 7 and 10 solutuon to verify? Sometimes the calibration doesn't save on the modules after the 1st try and you have to run through it again.

The PM modules are quirky like that sometimes. Don't throw away your pH buffers until uou make sure the calibration took.

If you discover this is the issue and you still can't get it to calibrate. There's a procedure I can walk uou through to get your PM1 working properly.
