I only have 1 display, and it’s working. The fan outlet in question, which does not automatically come on via the temp probe, does work and the fan comes on when the outlet is changes from auto to on
I get the fan works just fine. I know me asking to move things around sounds crazy. Let me ask it this way. What could be learned if you change the outlet program that doesn’t work on auto for your fan, to say a light that’s based on time as opposed to the temp probe? Imagine the outlet now works just fine in auto, what would that mean? Same goes for changing a working outlet program based on something other than temp, to a temp based program and now it no longer works on auto. What I’m trying to get at is that I think something got corrupted and your temp probe which was probably tmpx1 when you started up your system originally, mysteriously changed to tmpx2 or something else but your outlet programming is still looking for tmpx1. Without knowing what’s in the advanced tab in your outlet programming it’s difficult to say. As your system has an error with two displays shown it makes perfect sense that something would be different as far as a the temp probe changing in the output setup. Sometimes a reboot will clear things up, sometimes you need to remove power for a couple minutes and power back up, but…. Sometimes the problem gets worse and you have to nuke it and start fresh. I would open a ticket on the Neptune support site and they’ll help get you straightened out.

Can you post a screenshot of your Apex Fusion interface showing the list of probes? (3 gears icon > temperature icon)

In your programming I would change the third line to:

If Tmp < 79.9 Then OFF

Cool it says if Tmp. What color font is tmp? If you delete the tmp and start typing tmp back in, a drop down should/might appear. Maybe there’s another tmp, tmpx1, tmpx2, etc that you could select. I would try to select a different one if possible….just as an experiment

Edit. Even if that works you’ll still need to deal with the corruption of showing the second disp disconnected.

Unfortunately I’m at work
Will try the fan outlet with time prompts to see if it works tonight
Best bet after that is to re-start everything ?
Only have very basic programming

What color font is tmp?
It's green,

But I think you hit the nail on the head in an earlier post, that right now the only possibility (from a ui standpoint) is that tmp has a new address, just like when display was recreated. And what @blaxsun said a shot of all the probes the apex thinks it has and their names are worth looking at.

If you have the app on your phone: click on the gear icon > then the icon that looks like a thermometer > tap the "type" so that it filters (groups) all the like types and then take a screen shot of all the lines with the temp.

My guess is that you're only supposed to have 1, but possibly have at least 2.

OK, do this the outlet that is in question set it to advanced and delete everything that is written in there, and only have
Fallback on
Set on
Written in that spot and save that there with the slider in the auto position, the outlet should remain on confirm what happens when you do this, then do the same thing with a different outlet and confirm your findings on that outlet I would venture to say the auto setting for that outlet is bad

If the outlet does not turn on with fall back on, set on as your commands, and there’s a problem with the outlets

The outlet said auto for probably 10 seconds
Now says on
I guess you won't know until you get home, but verify that the fan is on. Then reprogram that outlet to turn on and off at the desired temps and see what happens. But after saving the coding from wizard you'll also want to go back to "advanced" and make sure "SET ON" has been removed and the fallback says OFF otherwise the coding won't work properly.

And if it's still there then delete that line of code and save it to the cloud.

If that doesn't work, the last thing to check is to ensure that your temperature readings through fusion is accurate. Does the temperature ever get above 80.0° to toggle the fan on?

Changed control type back to chiller
Lowered the on temp , lower than current temp and outlet stayed in auto mode and did not turn the fan on

Yes temp gets above 80 and fan has always come on , until now
Apex temp probe agrees with Ranco probe
