The white marks looks like stress marks from what I can see?

For copper, I wouldn’t worry so much about the “dose” as monitoring the level increases until it gets where you need it. What kind of copper are you using and how will you be testing it?

The normal general cure dose (1 packet for 10 gallons) should be ok for the wrasse? What symptoms are you seeing from him?

And NEVER starve fish, keeping the fish eating through treatment is a huge part of how successful you will be. The majority of losses for me occurred when a fish refused or stopped eating.

I am using Seachem cupramine as copper treatment. Based on ur experience, what copper test kit is easy to interpret and yield reliable results?

The carpenter flasher wrasse was laying flat at the bottom of the qt and now is moving around a little bit, a good sign of recovery.

I will take ur advice and prepare medicated foods ( Thera pellets+selcon+garlic+metroplex+focus) to feed them.
Thanks again.

Seachem's copper test kit is made to work with their Cupramine. The nice thing is it has a reference test so you can compare your tank's test to the standard reference.

Update #1 on my QT:
My blonde Naso young male appears to be doing fine after 48 hrs under API General Cure (GC) and 24 hrs so far into Seachem cupramine. The white marks are gone. Some good improvements. I just added a nano power head and he is swimming around, but still is not eating yet despite I fed him with pellets soaked with Selcon + garlic and seaweed tied to a rock. I continue to watch him closely. Sadly, I lost my carpenter’s flasher wrasse after day 2 I think that GC dose is too strong for the wrasse. Any comments are appreciated.

Does the alert badge look a tad green in person as well? Flasher wrasses are VERY sensitive to ammonia, and a bit sensitive to prazi and copper in general (why you want to dose copper very gradually, over 4-5 days preferably, with flasher/fairy wrasse).

Since it's been 48 hours, I would do a water change now to remove any ammonia that might be starting to build-up. Just make sure you dose the new water with copper before it hits the tank.

Thanks for the reply. My flasher wrasse was not under copper treatment and died after 48 hr full dose of GC that was my oversight. Unfortunately, I don’t t have an extra QT to quarantine the flasher wrasse separately.
The ammonia level is in btw safe and alert limits in person. My QT is 10 gal, so I’ll do a 10% water change today with cupramine added to new water. Btw, I only dose half the Seachem recommended amount that is slowly and safe for the Naso Tang.

Is there any reason why you woudln't just dose GC every other day for the entire 14 day period? GC takes care of more problems than Metro and having just 1 drug instead of 2 makes life easier.

You could potentially wind up overdosing praziquantel.

on the API General Cure package the instructions are to dose every 48 hrs. Is that dosage incorrect?

For flukes, GC is generally used as two doses spaced 5-7 days apart.
More doses spaced closer together could have unintended side effects.
