That's a bummer. Apogee par meters are on sale today but I can't get one until Friday. How often do they go on sale? Is it common or is like most other high reef stuff and once in a blue moon?

They are a hit or miss sale item. They are on sale at BRS. I would have to say they are on sale more often than most MAP items, but not every time a sale happens.

It will hook up to my laptop via USB. Don't need the extra thing. Just have to download the apogee app.

Ahh...good to know. I was unaware of the app and the ability to use the sensor independent of the meter itself.

It was the greatest thing I ever learned. I thought only the new one for over 500 bucks did that, but it has bluetooth so you don't have to hook it up to a laptop via usb
