Ok well I traded my old skimmer for this one and am having trouble figuring out flow through this thing. So I'm going off the info from online as I don't have the paper manul for this. Ok it states for a pump that can do 1200-1800 gph unrestricted from aquas web manul. Looking at it on marine Depot it says a 550 gph water flow thru rate. So question is how much flow do I need to go through to the skimmer? Do I need it to hit 1200 gph at the nozzle? Or what gph is best suited for this. I'm trying to figure out tube length to gph for the pump. Thanks.
