Aqua lift filter

I’m looking to get a filter for my aqua lift pump. The smallest size t strainer I can find is 1/2 inch but tubing is 1/8. This is the one people used previously

Is 1/8 the ID or OD? Most of these usually use 1/4" air line and there are plenty of adapters available for that size.
