Aqua Maxx AF-1 Fleece Roller

Hi all, I just installed my Aqua Maxx fleece roller into my sump yesterday, but need some help making sure it is working correctly. But the black pipe on the fleece roller that’s supposed to connect to the overflow is way bigger than my over flow pipe, do I need to mod my overflow pipe to connect it to the fleece roller? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The short answer regarding the pipe is yes. You should be able to find an adapter at Home Depot (etc.) that can connect the overflow pipe to the fleece roller intake pipe.
