The quality of the control box of the current eflux pump I am using isn’t great. The pump has me a little worried... I feel like it may fluctuate in flow. I bought a backup already just in case.... what are your thoughts? Mine (6011) is also loud! Has a very distinct whine at all levels...
I will reach out for sure. I feel the pump itself is well built. Just curious as to your thoughts. Not a lot of user info out there at the moment.
Your build looks great! Didn’t mean to take anything away from it.
Very nice set up, how do you like the cove skimmer I have seen theses on YouTube quite a bit ?
At this point I can only comment on the quality of construction. So keeping that in mind I would rate it a 10 for sure. Very heavy built! I wouldn’t be scared to drop it at all. Not that I would do that but accidents do happen.... [emoji4]
This tank is not wet yet so as far as performance I’ll have to wait until I’ve had a chance to operate it. [emoji41][emoji6]
That’s great 120reefkeeper , I look forward to seeing more about it in your future post! Everything looks very nice! How good is the quality of your tank , sump , and stand ?
I like how the number are at the top of the air pipe. So much easier to dial the skimmer in and keep the skimmer dialer inSo now you all are probably wondering what skimmer is he going to go with?
Well let me tell you this skimmer right here is nothing short of awesome! It’s built like a TANK!!
Heavy duty construction NO DOUBT! I am extremely impressed with this skimmer ! It weighs a ton and the quality is second to none!!!
Just look at the pictures and you’ll see the thickness of the acrylic compared to my thumb.
Btw I have pickle fingers! You get the picture!! Lol
Heavy duty!!

Coming together!!
Let us know how the float works out.
The Stone Fix is the bomb. I used it wet when epoxy would not hold!!I sure will! Look forward to getting the cycle going... just need sand and rock.
I’m contemplating going BB for the first time. As far as rock I’ll be using the Aquaforest StoneFix
