To anyone that uses aquaforest components 1+2+3. After you figure out the dosage for your tank size, for example mine is 30ml. Is it 30ml from each jug? Or 30ml from all the jugs combined? I'm new to aquaforest, and I'm switching from All for Reef. I don't want to mess up my dosage! 😁

Regardless of what any company might suggest as a starting dose, one should always adjust the dose to stabilize the alkalinity near your target level or range. Do not stick with any fixed, recommended dose.

Are you measuring alkalinity? if not, time to start. :)

I am measuring alkalinity. I still have to calculate my daily consumption. I know according to Aquaforest that you have to dose equal amounts from each jug. What I can't seem to find clarification on is am I doing 30ml from each jug individually, or is it 10ml each jug to make a combined 30ml?

If you determine you need 30 ml, it will be of each.

I still have to add my daily consumption to that number, but yes 30ml otherwise. Thank you for the clarification! 🙏

Where did the 30 ml number come from? The daily consumption is what you should be dosing.

The original math for dosage said something along the lines of 5ml per 25gal. I could be wrong though.

That number is what I suggest you should ignore. You should adjust the dose to stabilize alk, whether that is 1 mL or 300 mL Per day.

Thank you. I was able to find a more detailed article from Bulk Reef Supply on using your calculators and how to dose. Everything is cleared up now, and I'm glad that I found that article, because 30ml would have been too much.
