We are slowly getting back into the livestock business. We still many more pictures to load from our current inventory but I'm struggling with getting "tack sharp" photos. If you have any tips on settings for a Canon 20D with a 60mm a macro lens then I'm all ears. It's a work in progress but I did go out a buy a nice tripod, 24" horizontal arm and a remote switch to get steady shots but I'm still confused by what aperture setting to use and such. I was told to use the camera in AV mode so that's what I'm doing but I'm still not satisfied with my photography skills...or the lack thereof. Tips are welcome. Here are some links to the coral shots I took today.

Acanthastrea

Large Polyp Blastomussa wellsi

Euphyllia parancora / Yellow Branching Hammer Coral #1

Rhodactis Miami Hurricane #2

So are you using the horizontal mount for top-down's? I always wondered if they had something for that...
