Hello everyone,

I need your stocking help for my 130 gallon tank!

I want to set up mixed reef tank that is full of colorful moving fish and a wide assortment of corals: torches, hammers, clams, zoanthids, acros, acans, brains, bubble, plate coral etc.

The tanks dimensions are as follows: 55"Lx26"Wx24"H.

Stocking list:

One Yellow Tang
One Purple Tang (added young and at the same time as the yellow tang).
One Blue Throat Triggerfish (Male)
Two Ocellaris Clownfish
One Blue Dot Jawfish
One Royal Gramma Basslet
One Yellow Watchman Goby
One Melanurus Wrasse (Male)
One Tailspot Blenny
One Flame Hawkfish
Shrimp (Blood Red Fire, Scarlet Skunk)
Conch
Clean Up Crew (Nassarius snails, Trochus snails, Bumblebee snails etc)

What are your thoughts on the stocking above in a 130 gallon tank? I have the Reef Octopus Regal 150SSS 6" Space Saving Protein Skimmer, do you think the bioload will be fine?

Thanks in advance!

As long as you're taking a month or 3 between adding fish it shouldn't be an issue. Bacteria grows slower than we would all like. If the bioload ends up being an issue there's always larger skimmers and more water changes

Thanks for the great feedback, I will take things slowly but surely with the fish additions. Could you help me with the stocking order of when I should add the fish and inverts? I believe the Trigger should be added last, tangs 2nd last and at the same time. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)
