Just finished modding my fixture so both wire come out of the same side. I’m a little frustrated that they didn’t make it like this from the beginning but it much easier route the wires now.

Yes, wouldn't that be great? I think you did pretty good with what you came up with.
Thanks I had to totally take apart one of the fixtures and reverse it and drill out the fixture end cap and the bracket to accommodate the cord. At least I could the other pieces as templates. A Dremel or die grinder makes it easy but a drill can work also.

Most lights have a connector that plugs into the power supply. It would be great if they had a split like wavemakers do so you could swap out smaller lengths of cable instead (as I've done with my wavemakers and controllers). Having to bundle up 10+ feet of cabling always seems like a waste.

I”m not an electrician but I wonder they could be spliced together or a y cable that funnels them in to one plug?
