Aquatic T5 with ai prime.

New reefer in the making lol. I have a tank but it’s dry I’m still buying gear.

My question is…. Since the recommended height for the T5 is 8” from the water and the ai prime is 13” from water. What height should I mount the fixture?

I want a mixed tank. I am not going crazy with the corals I will have some but not a whole tank.

If your hanging it you should be able to put it wherever you want with in reason. Recommended height are just a guide to work with and not set in stone. A lot will depend on rock work and where coral are placed.
