Aqueon heaters/ two heaters?

That doesnt have an aquarium safe probe either.

You need this one. LINK

The probe has to be plastic or covered in silicone. Stainless steel is not free from rust. Probably wont be a problem but it is a potential source of heavy metal contaminants down the road.
Are you sure? The probe on this one says it’s made for aquariums and it doesn’t look like it has any stainless steel that would be exposed?

I can confirm the one you linked to does have the plastic covered probe. The main difference is the one you linked to will control 2 heaters, while the other one controls a heater and some sort of cooling device.

Just ordered this one, thanks!

Thanks! I don’t need two heaters for this size tank so I’ve ordered the other
