You may be able to get another tank tonight if any of your big box pet stores are open late…Ok working on draining now
All big box stores are closed due to it being a Sunday I’m loading everything into 5 gallon buckets rn. I have a spare 15 gallon innovative marine that I think I’m going to move the fish into and set up tonight then rock in the buckets. Unfortunately the only brute trash can I have available has 3 bags of dog food dumped into it so not much help to me rnYou may be able to get another tank tonight if any of your big box pet stores are open late…
However, best-bet may to just go for the Home Depot special brute trash can that has proven itself capable of holding the water weight countless times!
Once all livestock is in your temporary holding brute, and basic life support has been re-established (wave maker rippling water’s surface, heater not touching plastic of container), you can breathe, and make it a tomorrow problem!
Home Depot/lowes/etc should be open still with any luck? All big box stores are closed due to it being a Sunday I’m loading everything into 5 gallon buckets rn. Would it be possible to consolidate the rock into the fewest containers possible, allowing you to focus on those containers and keep that rock live?I figured this will work for one night fish and important coral in innovative marine 15 gal with heater and pump rest of rock and water in assorted 5 gallon buckets. **** the sand
I’ve had it down to mid-60’s temporarily without experiencing appreciable die-off…I tried to consolidate the rock the best I could got it into 3 buckets. I could put more in the 15 gallon but I don’t want to over stress the fish and not have enough room to swim. (I have 1 scopas tang who likes to swim a lot). What’s the lowest temperature that the rock will stay alive?
Yea when i bought the tank ik it was budget because i got it when it was $1 per gallon, but i thought aqueon had good enough reviews. Ig I just got a bad one from manufacturing.i have had really good luck with aqueon so far lol, but innovative marine, or glass cages would be ones i would consider.
