Tried and true is what I like. I have far too many lights to play around with if I were trying to dial in LEDs You can control one light with your iPhone or more if they can be ran in series? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm curious.
The specific LED fixture I use and what most would call 'Chinese black box' can only be controlled one at a time with iPhone or Android. If I were more involved and a little more tech savvy, they have resource websites that sell wifi controllers that can link to each other. I am sure I could possibly chain link(so to speak) from one fixture to another. However, I only have one unit thats programmable and the other is a two channel white/blue on/off.

Its a knob kind of similar to some of those adjustable ballasts (not that I know anybody that actually turns that knob on a adjustable ballast) you just turn it if you are like me and way under par with tech stuff linked to my phone. Hell I cant even get text messages correctly. You can go just as old school with leds as mine just turn on and off. I though dont have to use screen to help corals adjust to my light. I can just turn a knob

Crap I would need a man purse like @sexycorals wears to carry all the iPhone's I would need to control them.
There are many that have great success with LEDs. I have considered them over one tank just to give them a try. Maybe someday..
