I have been going back and forth on removing the filter sock and adding in a skimmer in a IM Nano 14g anemone tank. The tank houses a carpet, BTA's, flowers and a couple clowns which as been up for 2 months now. I run carbon, and a sock. I was thinking to help with the possibility of allelopathy adding in a skimmer.. Is it going to do what I need it to or just be more work, I'm unsure. No3 and po4 is not a worry with only two clowns. The skimmer addition would solely be for the possibility of allelopathy / removing "toxins" that anemones release from inflating and deflating. Since the system is "small" for anemone standards, would a skimmer be a good addition in place of a sock?
