I'm trying to build my wishlist and I noticed that nobody seems to carry Aquacultured tangs. Is that not a thing?

Just curious.

The only tangs available through Aquaculture to my knowledge are the Yellows, Hippos/Regals and Purple tangs.

So what I will say is Good luck trying to get an Aquacultured tang :)

Hey MrWellington,

We do aquaculture both yellow and blue hippo tang. They're incredibly difficult to breed so many companies haven't bridged that technical gap yet. We are working on more species in the future but at this time only those two species are commercially available captive bred.

Out of curiosity will CB Achilles tangs be available in the future?

Hopefully through us in the future, it might be a bit before we see them readily available though

For half the price ?
Unfortunately it usually costs a bit more to make a fish from scratch than it does to net one from the wild. The production price is usually based on the cost of live feeds pre settlement, time of grow-out, and success rate.
