Hello I thought my water was cloudy when I put my new pop blooms on. As I got closer I see thousands on little white dots crawling all over my tank. Are these copepods, or will I need to quarantine and drain my tank? I have a couple gsp’s, a neon birds nest, a Kenya tree, Haitian anemone, leptastrea, and a waving anthelia. All thriving. Plus 2 misbar’s , sail fin rang, blue hippo tang. None of them are bothered or showing signs of stress or illness. I do think my phosphates are high as I have hard green algae growing on my glass.

Sorry for blurry images.

Looks like you got yourself a great pod population! Now I need that so I can get my Mandarin!!!
Thank you! I have been worried sick that I may have parasites
If they were parasites, they would show up on the fish and/or the corals depending on what kind of parasite they are. These have the characteristic tiny shrimp shape of pods. Now which kind of pods, you’d need one of our experts here to identify for you!

I have the same thing and they are pods. I have two Mandarins that were eating frozen food when I purchased them. I don't know how many copepods they consume because they are always present!
