Are these vermatid snails ?

Hundreds of them popped up when my tank was " dormant " with no fish or inverts. The salinity was also pretty high.

They dont have the stringy stuff coming out but looked like them to me.

Look Like tube worms. Not sure about official name. They are harmless filters feeders but can cause problems with pumps. They like the darker areas of my sump.
EDIT vermtids have a coil shape at the base and extend outward rather than laying on the rock. Tubes are also hard enough to pierce skin. The ones you show should crumble if you scrape them

Yes, definitely tube worms, as exnisstech said, quite harmless, actually good filter feeders. But yes, make sure you occasionally clean pumps out well, because they can cause issues in equipment. My tank has them everywhere.

Tube worms as earlier post says.. good things for the reef tank, i have 100's of them in DT..
