Full time engineer and lots of overtime to support hobby. Tanks so under control that I spend about 40 mins a day total on them. Gotta love automation/controllers
HAHA, nice. I was just speaking of the time. Most days I barely even feed the fish. lol
A fish could go missing and I wouldn't even notice for weeks. o_O

I've been going back and forth on this for the better part of a year. I really don't want to maintain two tanks but I must have one in my office and I want one in the living room. Our recent home purchase included a large basement so I'll be able to plumb both tanks into a single sump and mitigate much of the dual maintenance headaches I was trying to avoid. I'm hopeful that scrubbing the glass, powerheads, and light maintenance will be tolerable.

6 foot deep with 2 ft catfish inside I'll have to get a current picture.

Currently running two DTs, a 90 gal @ home and a 150 gal at the office, both are mixed reef. Makes it nice to be able to enjoy them all day, every day.
But I don't think I could handle having more than 1 at any 1 location.

Currently I have four tanks, one fresh water with a blue betta and a silver dollar over six years old, when the silver dollar dies the tank will come down. I also have a BioCube 32 , BioCube29 and BioCube14. The BC14 is in the process of being shut down as soon as I can catch the last fish (neon Gobie, fast bugger keeps going into the out take area). I have my BC29 in my study and the BC32 in the bedroom, I've considered going down to one SW tank but I'd miss having one in either of those rooms. I do admit to getting tired of the testing & water changes!

I mostly stick with saltwater, but multiple tanks. I like many kinds of coral, but they do not get along. So, more tanks makes sense, no? I also have the traveling system I bring to classrooms. Oh, and my mantis tank.

Freshwater we have had a couple, but only for the kids. Betta, puffer (teeny little thing) and little guys for my son. When the fish die, I do not re set up till kid begs more. :)

I would love to have one large tank again, but hubby doesn’t want to deal with it and the equipment needed. So, I have a 60 cube, a 32 Biocube for anemones and clowns and hubby has a 16 gallon softie tank. My daughter has two freshwater tanks but she’s old enough to care for them. But, yeah, I would take a 265 (or larger) any day and remove the others.

I voted multiple even though I only have one tank now. I did have a freshwater tank at one point and in the future I'd love a separate reef and FOWLR tank.

I've got three and love all of them . My fresh water is extremely low maintenance . I can't bring myself to break it down. It's been up since my first appartment, 19 years ago . Started a reef 3 years ago. Last year a friend gave me my third tank and its a fish only tank.

I've got one (55 gallon mixed reef), and I thought I'd never, ever, ever want a bigger one, but I'm at the point where I do. My dream tank now is a Red Sea Reefer 425 XL. BUT, I'll transfer what's in my old tank into my new tank. There's no way I want to deal with the maintenance of two tanks, plus the added expense
