Hello dear aquarium community,
I recently changed the light spectrum on my two ATI Straton fixtures because I wasn’t seeing much growth, and I also wasn’t happy with my previous settings.
At the moment, I’m running the following spectrum, which stays at 100% for four hours,an 4 hours Ramp Up,an 4 hours Rump Down
Rump Up an Rump Down is only:
  • V: 255
  • RB: 255
  • B: 255

4 Hours 100%:
  • UV: 40
  • V: 255
  • RB: 255
  • B: 255
  • C: 80
  • W: 80
  • R: 80

Could you please tell me whether, in your opinion, these settings are okay?
Is there too much blue light, or would you recommend adjusting any of the other channels?

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Which model of the ATI Straton do you have? The generation 1 came out a few years ago vs. they released the gen 2 late least year / early this year. The Gen 2 has more blues apparently.

From the pictures, you have the OG Stratons (same as me).

The Stratons will grow coral very effectively.

What are your water parameters, specifically PO4? A PO4 spike can stunt coral growth.

For reference, I’m running this schedule for peak, and I get 150 PAR evenly across all the sandbed which is about 22” below the surface of water and my lights are hung 10” over my water.
