I have a 100g DT with appx 120g of total volume. I placed the RO and 34g brute can in the basement. I purchased the ATK V2 because the apex videos convinced me on the 3 layers of redundancy. I’ll also have the ATK connected to an apex classic. My concern ofcourse is a pmup fail which stays on and 34 gallons of fresh RO coming upstairs. Am I safe?? Should I go with a smaller ATO container??

Are you able to plumb an overflow drain from your sump back down to the basement? Being that you have an apex, I'd also invest in an extra optical sensor that you can install in your sump as a redundant failsafe to shut power off to your ATK in case it gets stuck on if you haven't thought about it already.

I did think of that but my basement has no drain nearby. I am going to the purchase the extra sensors.
