ATO pump question

Would the Sicce Syncra Silent 0.5 Multifunction Aquarium Pump (185 GPH) be good for the hydor ato?

I need something that will go from the floor up to 40ish inches since that is where the top of the tank is.

Unless anyone else has better idea? Tom Aqua lifter wont do it.

Bump.

I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. I know I switched out the pump on the auto top off system I use.

Maybe others who know the system better than I will chime in.

I didnt see a build thread for you, so I am going to just ask you... Do you have a sump?

I used an aqua lifter for a long time without a sump. I bought that little bracket that lets it hang on the back of the tank, primed the inlet line and it worked like a champ. That said, it and the choices i have tried since, did much better when i got a sump and just had it run to that instead.

Nah I don't have a build thread, it's a 10 gallon tank, that is my frag tank, sitting on a night stand. I"m just tired of hand filling it.

I don't want anything hanging on the side preferably. Id rather have it in the bucket and out of sight.
