ATO Reservoir

Hi all,

I am having a problem deciding on the proper size for an ATO reservoir for my 60g. cube. I need to put it under the stand and the size of the space I have is 7 1/2" wide x 20" deep x 15-20" high. Any ideas where I can get a reservoir of these approximate dimensions? Also, what is the minimum gallonage I should use for one of these. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 63 gallon square tank with 900 in^2 of surface area and a sump. An 8 gallon ATO reservoir lasts me a bit over a week, which is perfect. There are dog food dispensers at Wall mart that will fit perfectly in that space. Don't spend $200 on it.

I would look at Advanced Acrylic out of CA.

I got mine at Target .The dog food dispenser works great for less then 10 bucks and lasts me about 3-4 days

I a 30gal tank. I just use a food grade like gas can. 6 gal can lasts me for almost two weeks.

Pretty cool . I never thought about the dog food containers. Eshopps and Ebay sell them all the time proly 90 for 5 gallon acrylic units . Dims are 6 x 15d x 15h. I would think thats close to a weeks worth discounting old man winter but ymmv.

I like using the Scepter military water cans. The handle is useful if you have to move the ATO reservoir, like when my stupid fish jump behind the stand. I use one to carry water, and have a modified top with a long hose, and another next to my sump as the ATO reservoir. Rigid enough so that it does not bow out.
