Would there be any issues with the ATO if the water level was all the same in all chambers. The only thing I would think of is more filling time which shouldn’t be an issue with me. Played around and slept on this configuration for months- being the skimmer in last chamber Incase I need to put my bigger skimmer in later or any additional equipment if need to; won’t fit other way around (more use of space this way because of the roller mat, my bigger skimmer won’t fit sump being other way around). Will have either a removable sponge, acrylic baffle, or bio balls In-between pump and skimmer in case any micro bubbles. Any input it welcome

Your skimmer will never work correctly as the water level varies but it won’t hurt the top off.. if it was my setup I’d lose the roller mat and put the skimmer there..?

Do you still run socks ?
I have some and suck at cleaning them so no I don’t really use them lol.. I have a skimmer only and live rock for filtration..
