Yeah, it'll be fine for a while. You could check out the CA reactor build by @ca1ore . He built a very large ca reactor that's feeding a large, SPS-packed system... and soon a larger, more packed system (yes?). :0) Guessing you could build something similar for less than a large used reactor, but you never know. At the minimum, it is pretty rewarding to build your own reactor and have it work well.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm all about building my own.

Fish came in!

My first order from live aquaria in 10 years. The yellow belly hippo arrived DOA and they are taking care of it.

The Powder blue tang is huge
Naso and yellows are exactly what I expected
Hippo tangs are smaller than I expected 1inch

Everything else is doing well in qt.

Also some pictures of the sump like you had asked for!

The light for the refugium is lost in postal hell. Hopefully it comes tomorrow.

Ross, contact me on INDMAS, I have run a Ca Reactor for a few years and will help you get going. I have one on my 300 gallon system.

My refugium light came in today!

It's not as red as I thought it would be and visually this is a good thing. The pictures make it look more red.

Looking good, and I think you will like the light for the fuge. I run quite a few of those there "tomato" grow lights on my fuges and they do very well. Cheato and graciliria both exploded with growth after swapping for the kessils I had in there before. One thing to note with those lights, I did not have much coralline in my fuges, sumps prior to them, but man do I have it now. It seems the spectrum from the lights not only excites the macros, but coralline as well lol.

The VHO Actinics came in Thursday and I was able to install them this afternoon. They give off a nice blue, but truly, I cant tell the difference with them on with the Radium 250w. I know there is a few days of burn in period so im hopeful they do a little more. Maybe ill build custom reflectors also. Ill post a FTS tonight after the Glare is gone

Man this is awesome! I love the rockwork. I’ve been wanting to do a plywood tank for a very long time.
