Hey Everyone,

I recently had to tear down my tank for a move from Denver to NYC. I am a little sad and already thinking about trying to do a nano build. What are your favorite stores in NYC for plumbing parts, odds and ends, tubing, acrylic, etc. Also does anyone have any favorite LFS in Brooklyn. Thanks everyone!

Best,
Goodkat

I'm in Bklyn - my go-to LFS where i get all my stuff is:
1) Pop Corals in Dyker
2) Piece of the Ocean (R2R Sponsor!) in Staten Island
3) Exotic Reefs in Bensenhurst.

As for DYI - i just got to the home depot off exit 6 on the belt. Anything they don't have I usually end up ordering on Amazon.

Check out their website for the weekly auctions (thurs to sun). A lot of sweet deals that you should find helpful to restart your reef. Can just do local pick up instead of shipping.
