i must say i hate the auction style the vendors are adopting now . i don't want more "to do" things especially when shopping . I know there are ways to set up automated bids to streamline the process , but its just so much easier to know an exact price and buy now .I want to look at a sale on my day off and say o ok 35% of lets do this ,add to cart! I don't blame the vendors at all because they make more money somehow doing these things. Maybe I'm just missing something, but who would actively drive up a price on an auction when there is days left . I know there are rules to prevent sniping or whatever but if there isn't a reserve what would make someone actually bid on it when there is 4 days left? I always thought we wanted to pay the least amount of money for a coral . So here i am on a day off wanting to buy corals and most vendors have only auctions up or live sales .I don't want to sit on my day off and battle people to check out faster . I'm all set with that but it got me wondering what does everyone else prefer and why?

I like entering coupon codes at checkout! Auctions and live sales feel like to much work….plus, most websites give you anywhere from 10-20% off for just giving them your email!

I don't buy coral online*. It seems that from what I've read, the item received never matches the photo. Sometimes it's close, sometimes it's not.

*The only exception I've ever made is the grow out contests that Battlecorals sponsors. The first shipment was better than expected with the extras that came with it. The second shipment is due tomorrow and I fully expect to be completely satisfied as well.

That said, even if I did buy coral online, I have zero interest in live sales or auctions.

I dont like the live sales or auctions, i feel like people get caught up on them and end up over spending trying to beat out another guy, we run regular sales on our site with either a discount code or automatic discount.

I've never done an auction for a coral and like most above I'm not interested in them either.

I enjoy some of the live sales; they can be kind of fun. But what I love most is when they provide a nice coupon code at the end. Best time ever.

Battlecorals does it right, nice coupon code for their sales, no fuss and it’s awesome.

I despise auctions… mainly because I never win but also because I just never come back to raise my bid. Most of the time I’d rather just pay retail than deal with that.

As far as live sales, if there’s cool stuff I’ll shop it after the dust has cleared. I have no interest in sitting around for hours when I could be working on other projects
