Why is it so difficult to find Aussie gold torches? I understand that Indo being down moved more demand over to Aussie but you would think they would have imported more.

Euphylia are incredibly slow growers. So Aquacultured examples are controlled by how fast they can be fragged.
with euphylia most vendors will grow out and sell frags instead of constantly importing more. There are also sustainability questions that would arise from constantly selling wild collected specimens from a slow growing coral. That and wild collected corals have abysmal survival rates in hobbyists tanks. Taking a coral that has grown for 400 years at nearly the same dkh and plopping in a 10 dkh tank does not go well often.
