I'm planning a 100 gallon build, with tank dimensions of 6ft x 2 ft wide x 1.5 ft tall and I was wondering what combination of fish from Australia/barrier reef would work in this tank?

Ill bump this for you, I really cant think of many Aussie fish to be honest besides the harlequin tusk!

A baby emperor fish would be cool for a few months lol

Realistically there are an insane number of fish in the hobby that you could go with. One of my favorite aussie fish is the starcki damsel

I was going to ask what would be appropriate tang and wrasse species that would fit? I know Percula clowns come from around there, would they be ok in a community Reef?

Defo get a tuskfish. I saw a lot of six bar angelfish there maybe one of them If you don’t mind a risk. Red breasted hogfish aswell that’s a good one also quyoi parrot. I also saw loads of yellow damselfish in and around the reefs along with the pure yellow rabbit fish
