What is one reef related task that you use to do manually that now you do automatically that made your life so much easier?

For me it is fresh water topping off! Filling up my fresh water container and not worrying about it is NICE!

Dosing and feed cycles.
I have the Apex on three of my tanks, two of which get dosed multiple times a day. I am not home enough to keep alk stable manually.
Also, when I feed the fish, I like all the flow off of the tanks. So one voice command automatically turns off all the flow to three tanks.

The ONE thing I’d love to do automatically is my water changes but due to the layout and where drains and pipes are it would be unsightly. (I know where to draw the line)
The closest I’ve gotten is Brutes on wheels.
No 5 gallon buckets for me!

For me- Time saver and multi tasking. Controller allows me to do other things while it tends to Trident testing, dosing, lights/UV on and off and auto feeding.
My water station is more than convenient and a huge time saver.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
