AWC without sump

I’m looking into purchasing an AWC system for my 75 gallon reef tank, my question is can you setup an auto water change system without having a sump?

Sure you can I sump has nothing to do with a AWC. you can set up a pump to remove punt of water and add it back in. I did this with a stenmer dual head pump for years.
