Baby Candy Cane Head or Something Else?

Was looking at my candy canes today and noticed this smaller ‘head’ in the photos. Under whites it looks like a baby new head, but under blues there is orange fluorescence that makes me think it is something else? It reminds me of the RBTA I added a month ago.

Yeah, looks like a rouge clove polyp to me
 
Candy canes split. They don’t grow new heads from the base like that.

Does kinda look like a clove polyp.

So should I look to try and transplant it right away so as not to bother the candy canes, or am I better off leaving it be for now and if it starts to create a mat it will be easier to peel away with tweezers and move elsewhere?
