Thought it would be easier to post here.

Supplies

5 gallon bucket (Gray preferable, I get them at Lowes)
Rigid air line tubing ( ½ a tube, about 16â€)
Air line tubing
Air pump
Gang valve to control air flow
20+ gallon tank (for grow out)
Sponge (replacement overflow sponges work, or an actual sponge filter)
Heaters
Gatorade/PowerAde bottle
Drip line (4†piece of rigid airline, and about 20†of air line tubing)
Siphon (12†of rigid airline, and 36-48†of air line tubing)
Plain bucket for waste water
Rotifers and Nanno
(I use these to hold the Nanno I order from Reed's: Sally - Sally Graduated Color Applicator Bottle I buy the nanno by the Liter, so it's easier to freeze in these)
Light (clip light from Lowes or Home Depot with a cfl bulb)

Rearing Larvae
You will put your larvae with rotifers and nanno in the bucket. Look at the rotifer amount, and make sure it stays about the same over the first 5 days. Add as necessary. Do not add to much, or the larvae could die from oxygen deprivation. I’ll go over how to rear them to metamorphosis.
  1. There should be enough rotifers and nanno in the bucket (this means you can see them, but they don't look like a cloud. When I pull my culture each night, I would say that 1/4 of what I get in the sieve is what I use)
  2. Air coming in (no airstone) should be about 5-10 bubbles a second. Increase this after day 4, a little at a time.
  3. Light should be on for 24 hours a day, the first 4 days
  4. You will need to add nanno to the bucket twice a day for the first 3 days
  1. Fill the Gatorade/PowerAde bottle ¾ full with new saltwater
  2. Fill the rest with RO/DI
  3. Add 8 drops of nanno into the bottle
  4. Cap it and shake it up
  5. Use the drip line to slowly add to the bottom of the bucket (preferably by the heater)
  1. Siphon out any dead larvae and some of the water(be careful, since the live larvae are not strong swimmers, and might get sucked up as well. If this does happen, use a cup to scoop them in, and put back in the bucket)
  2. Do not clean the bottom until Day 3.
  3. On Day 4, start tailing back the nanno to 6 drops for the next 2 days. 4 drops for 2 days, then none.
  4. Be sure to siphon the bottom of the bucket every day. Dead rotifers, and algae will collect down there, and foul the water.
  5. By Day 6, be sure to take out as much water as you are adding (saltwater).
  6. Day 4, dust with the larvae food.
  7. By Day 8, most should have gone through meta, so they should be on dry food.
  8. Day 15-30, you should be able to move them to growout.
Grow Out
The sponge filter should be in a current tank, for at least a week prior to being added to the grow out tank. This allows it to collect the bacteria needed for grow out.
  1. Half fill a 20 gallon with new saltwater
  2. Add the sponge filter and heater
  3. Collect the fry, and acclimate them to the new water
  4. Feed 4-5 times a day (I use an auto feeder)
  5. Be sure to siphon the bottom every other day
  6. Slowly add more water to get to the full 20 gallon tank size
  7. Watch them grow

There is no guarantee that a new Platinum will pair up and become a mate with you snowflake, but you can always try. Sorry again for your loss and let me know if you have any questions.
