Found a large molt. Pretty sure it is from my breeding female. The expected range for the next larvae release is this coming week but I think she already did since she molts two or three days after

It is hard for me to tell unless I see her underside until about two days before when her belly swells up. Not sure was not expecting it this week and have been working so have not been paying close attention but don’t think she looked too swollen

8/31/20. Mama is plump looking like more babies on the way. Unfortunately they will be zooplankton for the tank. Was unable to keep up with the daily maintenance of the delicate and time consuming zooplankton and phytoplankton due to the 12 hour 6 days a week schedule so have been buying prior to hatch which is almost 200 with shipping charges. Currently looking for a new job with better pay and less hours or more flexibility so unfortunately as of right now ‘project hatch’ is currently on hold

Trying something new. Zip tied a sieve to a frag rack in the display tank. I have one of the returns position so just a trickle enters the sieve. Trying Phyto feast live algae blend, tw algae, and live nanno. Apx pods and tigger pods going to add some of the babies to the sieve and brine shrimp should be hatched by daybreak
