Good Morning all,
Got home from a trip late last night and wanted to check on my ATO and such before bed. Was completely dark in the room and tank when I got in, and I saw a few of these little bugs moving about. Seemed to be eating the glass algae. After a 20 minutes or so they all seemed to retreat somewhere. Anything I should be concerned about? No damage to the monti's, digitatius or zoa's I have in there. It is a frag tank, so just snails, copepods, and frags.

Bristle worm.

Verdict is 50/50. Some hate it and get ride of it, others love it. I like em -- great clean up crew.

They can over run your tank but if food vanishes so will the explosion of worms. I've had fish expire out in my work tank over the weekend and by time I am back at the desk on Monday, not a trace remains. I doubt my emeralds and hermits alone would be able to do that much heavy lifting... so attribute it to the worms
