Hello from Niagara Falls Ontario area! After a decade or so of breeding freshwater fishes, I got my first reef tank about 25 years ago. After a ton of fun for 10 years or so, I had to retire the system (180 gallon) when the Mrs and I decided to combine households (tank is still in storage). After 10 years of a freshwater display tank, she asked if I wanted to give a marine system a go again? Did I? Are you kidding me? It turns out she meant just the current 30 gallon freshwater tank..*sigh*. So about a year and a half ago, I started assembling/building the system. After a major wipeout about 8 months ago (flood, my fault), I am finally starting to stock the tank with corals again..just a few lps while we continue with phase II of the build :). 30 gallon mixed reef, heavily stocked alcoholic fish, home built 15 gallon sump, apex system (mostly for vacation auto-pilot and trending). Love r2r, great buncha people here :)

Cheers!
