I do plan on documenting my build with pictures as well as YouTube videos to help those who don’t really know what to do or go about doing things the right way on a large tank build. I have my tank picked out. Sump with refugium, lights, flow/wave makers, protein skimmer and return pump. Just ordered my 50 gallon containers to build a auto/ saltwater mixing station/ water change. currently have a thread I just posted on getting input on controllers. I’m doing a 350+ gallon build. Leaning towards GHL only because I have friends who wish they never purchased Apex one problem after another with longevity and failure.
Next week I have contractor coming to install a sliding door under stairwell., light vents and electrical. I have water and drain all within 10ft of where I will have RO unit and water containers and tank. I want a clean organized closet and tank.
I am leaning towards life rock out of Florida for building my aqua scape . I just can’t and won’t use dry rock. It’s just ugly and being old school who always used live rock I just can’t go all white/ tan rock.
