Back from vacation

Just got back from the most amazing vacation my wife and I have ever taken. We toured Arizona and New Mexico in a rented convertible. I can give all of the spectacular details and pics, but the best part of the journey was the return back home. We were gone for 8 days. I left my son, who has no interest in aquatic life to look after my 4 fresh water and two reef tanks. While we had the time of our lives (and if you haven't done it, I highly recommend it), I worried the whole time about the tanks. When we got back today, I found all of my tanks to be happy and healthy. I've never left my babies for more than three days before. You read stories all of the time about the devastation that occurs when people go away for awhile. Don't know if we were just lucky, or if we did something right. Either way, I'm just amazed how well everything turned out. Just had to share.

Sounds like you had a good time. I need a vacation badly. I’m glad you came home and all was good. I would have done the same while away, wondering is everything ok or I am coming back to a flood.
