Second time poster here, new to R2R site. I got introduced to saltwater when my son (age 14) was less than 1 year old. My wife dragged me into Petco for a gold fish. Lucky for me that store at the time sold saltwater fish. I walked out with a 30 gallon hex that included a filter, lights, rock, sand and No fish! Cycle Time! The rest is history!
I've gone through many size tanks and customized many 40 gallon breeders into sumps. lol. Shoot, I think my first sump may have been a 30 gallon Rubbermaid container. (That was a beautiful 125 though). Anyways, here is my current 65 gallon.

Thanks! I had a custom canopy that matches it. I was running an older Hamilton 250 watt metal halide with two vhos. Threw the canopy in the garage and hung two Kessil 160 Tuna blue. With the limited space and tempered glass I'm unable to add a sump.
I have a HOB AquaMaxx Cone S but I also threw that in the garage and now I'm running the smaller AquaMaxx 1.5.

Maybe a little. It's been running for about 3 weeks now. My previous was a 40 gallon breeder with the same dimensions as this new 65 gallon. I had the 40 running for a little under 2 years. All I had to do was raise the lights and transfer everything over.
More like a water change and tank upgrade. Haha
