Back in the Salt Again

Hello,
This is my first post on Reef 2 Reef. I am returning to the hobby after 5 years. Shut down my Red Sea 170 in 2018 when we moved from Northern California to North Carolina.
So, I am in the process of catching up on what has changed and making a to do list of items before setting up my tank again.
From what I have ascertained so far it looks like BRS bought Marine Depot, still lots of acronyms and livestock got more expensive.
But my wife thinks the hobby got less expensive;);).

Any advice from the folks here is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to R2R! My advice? Treasure your wife, few spouses would ever say that the hobby has gotten less expensive (actually in some ways it has).
