Started up the KH Director today. Rack works well. Easy to open up and get inside.

Time to setup the aquarium fish wet room. Our original house plans had a fish room and a dog room but in an effort to reduce build cost we reduced sq footage and the fish room was one of the casualties of the reduction. Going into the 3rd year of living in the house we lost the dog the room was intended for and do not plan on replacing with another large canine.

The room is 7’ x 10’ has a shower drain in the tile floor, 4’ of tile on the walls with a shower faucet. The tank is located just on the other side of one of the walls.

My plan is to install a ss sink, worktable, water making / mixing station and storage. Long term I will set up a qt tank alongside a small grow-out tank.

Wow, I can not believe it has been a year since I decided to create a wet room. Better late than never. Making water and mixing salt soon “any timeline less than a year = soon”!
