It's been a long time between drinks here! I'm getting back into the online forums after a LONG break. Time's have changed, and it looks like Reef2Reef is the place to be now! Use to be fairly active 15 years or so ago on the other forums popular at that time 😅.

I've been keeping marine aquaria for 27 years or so, starting in New Zealand, when 400W halides were the thing, SPS were an emerging rarity, softies and LPS dominated, and the deep sand bed vs bare bottom wars were really kicking off 😂 Eventually moved to Sydney, and am enjoying the luxury of inexpensive, high quality local livestock, and now splitting my time between Vanuatu and Sydney, with beautiful reefs on my doorstep.

I've also taken the plunge from moving from hobby to business, starting a company producing smart aquarium devices. As a trained electrical engineer, and professional software developer (mobile healthcare software), I think I can contribute something meaningful to the hobby, focusing on simple yet powerful products, designed for low maintenance.
