Any alternative popular brands you know off hand?
Less about the brand and more about using GFO at all. I think the issues have been GFO removing all phosphate and running into issues such as dinoflagellates or poor coral health with lack of nutrients.

Welcome to R2R, i also think you should be fine with 3 lights instead of 4 and the issue with gfo in my experience is that in a reactor it works too well and it will strip the phosphates out of your water to quick. My corals started fading in no time and i was using less than the recommended ammount. Now i use some in a mesh bag and it doesnt affect them at all. My montis hate the reactor. Thats my experience but i would read more about it im still a senior newbie.

Welcome back, jump on in waters warm. List looks like you will have a nice ecotech setup, with this list take your time and get all the equipment and parts with a check list. Also go slow with the build. It’s nice to have it all together and then throw water in, if you can be patient look at it all built for a few days and make sure you don’t want to move a reactor, valve, or anything
