I recently accidentally bought Dr Tims Eco-Balance: FRESHWATER. And also accidentally used some before I noticed my mistake.

Is it safe/beneficial to use? Or should I just chuck it?

I wouldn't throw it out, you might be able to return it. I don't think it will harm your tank.
